  Data spotlight:

The CCDB is pleased to announce the release of a unique serial section electron microsocpic data set from Reid and colleagues just published in Nature. These researchers characterized the preferred stimulus orientation-of a group of neurons in the mouse primary visual cortex using two photon calcium imaging followed by large-scale electron microscopy of serial thin sections to trace a portion of these neurons' local network. The EM data are available under project P2097. Currently, a downsampled version and a full resolution cropped version are available. However, the entire 10 Tb data set is being prepared for future release via CCDB's Web Image Browser tool.
